Charge your electric car with MOLSLINJENs chargers for 1 DKK per kWh

We recently launched 16 supercharger outlets at our port in Aarhus, and you can now charge your electric car for 1 DKK per kWh!*

To use the chargers, you must drive to the check-in gates in Aarhus, where your license plate will be scanned. You will then have the option to choose yes or no to use the chargers before your departure. After check-in, you can drive to a charger next to the boarding lanes*.

To begin charging, please follow the guide on the note you received at the check-in machine.

*Please note that the price of 1 DKK per kWh is a limited introductory offer and may be changed without notice. The list price per kWh is subject to change and follows electricity prices. Use of the chargers requires a valid ticket for MOLSLINJEN, minimum price 249 DKK. Terms and conditions for charging at MOLSLINJEN’s chargers apply.

It is even easier to take your car on long trips around Denmark when you use MOLSLINJEN.

MOLSLINJENs superchargers in Aarhus and Odden
We have just launched 8 new superchargers in Aarhus, each with 2 power outlets. This means that up to 16 electric cars can now charge before departure with MOLSLINJEN. In 2026, we will complete the configuration of the same number of chargers at our port in Sjællands Odde.

You will find the chargers in Aarhus on your right just after you pass through the check-in gates. To use the chargers, you must pay with a credit card. The price is currently 1 DKK per kWh.

Free charging on board
If you are travelling BlueClass, you can charge your electric car for free on the crossing. On board the ferry, you have access to the business lounge, where you can work in peace and make the most of the time on board. Both you and your car can charge up your batteries while you save yourselves a 200-kilometre drive.

There are two charging points on each crossing, which are offered to BlueClass passengers on a first-come, first-served basis. We have sockets and cables on board for both TYPE1 and TYPE2 plugs.

CLEVER Fast-charge stations in Aarhus and Odden
You can also charge your electric car in MOLSLINJEN’s port areas. CLEVER has set up multi-standard fast-charging stations at the ferry terminals in Aarhus and Odden.

The charging stations have three different sockets for fast charging and can therefore charge all modern electric vehicles to 80% in 20 to 30 minutes, including Volkswagen, BMW, Tesla, Renault and Nissan.

All passengers travelling with MOLSLINJEN are welcome to use the charging stations in both ports. You will need a CLEVER charge card to use the stations. At Odden you can even charge your car if you are not using MOLSLINJEN. CLEVER has charging points and fast-charge stations across Denmark and is continually adding new stations to the charging network. You can keep track at CLEVER.dk where you can also download CLEVER’s app for iOS or Android.

Conditions for charging electric vehicles

The following conditions apply to charging your electric vehicle with Molslinjen A/S, effective from 02. October 2025.

We look forward to welcoming you and your electric car aboard the world’s largest high-speed ferries.

Charging is free for passengers with a Business BlueClass ticket. If you book a charging point and do not turn up, MOLSLINJEN is entitled to charge a no-show fee of DKK 200.
If you wish to cancel your booking for a charging point, you must call MOLSLINJEN on +45 70 10 14 18.
You can reserve one (1) charging point per Business BlueClass ticket per departure.
All charging is at your own risk.
Charging is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and to the extent that there is capacity on the high-speed ferry.
If you wish to charge your car on board, you must book a charging point on our website by calling MOLSLINJEN on +45 70 10 14 18. Your booking is not valid until you have received a booking confirmation by email from MOLSLINJEN.
You must check in no later than 20 minutes before your planned departure. If you check in after this time, your booking will be cancelled and MOLSLINJEN can offer the charging point to other passengers.
MOLSLINJEN may at any time withdraw the offer for vehicle charging without incurring any liability whatsoever.
There may be cases where charging capacity is limited or completely unavailable on the crossing or parts thereof. MOLSLINJEN cannot be held liable for costs, delays or other inconveniences that this may inflict on those who have booked a charging point.
Removing charging cables from other vehicles is strictly forbidden.
The ferry’s charging cables must be used for charging. These are MOLSLINJEN’s property and any theft will be reported to the police.
For safety reasons, access to vehicles on the car deck during the crossing is not permitted.

If you have any enquiries or questions about the charging stations you must contact CLEVER A/S or Norlys depending on which charger you used. If you used the chargers with CLEVERs logo on, you must contact CLEVERS A/S. If you used the chargers with MOLSLINJEN logo on it, you must contact Norlys.
All charging is at your own risk.
MOLSLINJEN’s staff are not able to help with charging.
Charging points are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
After charging, you must drive directly to your boarding lane.
It is the customer's own responsibility to stop charging in sufficient time to be directed to the approach lane and drive on board before boarding finishes, or before motorists without a reservation are waved on board.
Please note that MOLSLINJEN’s chargers and CLEVER’s chargers are operated as two separate services and do not share the same prices, campaigns, or terms. Please familiarise yourself with the prices and general terms of the different suppliers.
