Accessibility statement for Molslinjen
It is a requirement that all Molslinjen websites and apps comply with the accessibility requirements as described in Act No. 801 of 7.6.2022, effective from 28 June 2025.
The accessibility of Molslinjen websites and apps has been evaluated by a third party specializing in accessibility. The service has been tested on several devices using various testing methods, both manually and automatically.
The assessment is that Molslinjen websites and apps partially meet the accessibility requirements.
This accessibility statement was published on December 15th, 2025. We update this statement at least once a year.
Non-accessible content on Molslinjens websites
The service does not yet fully meet the requirements in the following areas:
WCAG 1.1.1 Non-text-based content (Level A)
• Not all informative images have meaningful alternative texts.
• Some icons do not have meaningful alternative texts
WCAG 2.1.1 Keyboard (Level A)
• Seat reservation cannot be used with a keyboard
• Modal windows from third-party suppliers cannot be used with a keyboard
WCAG 2.4.4 – Purpose of links (in context) (Level A)
• There are some links that are not meaningful for the purpose
WCAG 2.4.7 – Visible focus (Level AA)
• One place behind the login on a business profile there is content from a third-party supplier that does not have visible focus
WCAG 3.3.1 – Identification of errors (Level A)
• One place behind login, users of screen readers do not receive announced error messages
• One place there is an error message that is not meaningful for the purpose
WCAG 1.4.5 – Images of text (Level AA)
• Images of text are used in a few places where it is not an alternative to text
WCAG 4.1.3 – Status messages (Level AA)
• When purchasing an add-on in the booking flow, screen readers are not on every element notified about a status message
Non-accessible content on Molslinjens apps
Molslinjen has an iOS app and an Android app. The services do not yet fully meet the requirements in the following areas:
WCAG 2.4.7 – Visible focus (Level A)
• When using VoiceOver there is one place where content is in focus behind the screen
WCAG 2.5.1 – Gestures (Level A)
• There is no alternative to swipe on one place on both apps
