Check-in times

We have room for everyone on board MOLSLINJEN, and we very much look forward to welcoming everyone to the world’s largest high-speed ferries.

You will find the latest check-in times below, to ensure no-fuss boarding.

Check in at the port no later than the times listed below to guarantee your space on the MOLSLINJEN high-speed ferry.

  • Business BlueClass: 5 minutes
  • Standard, Flex and Low-price tickets: 10 minutes
  • Foot passengers: 10 minutes
  • Electric cars with a reservation for charging on board: 20 minutes
  • Semitrailers, lorries and road trains: 20 minutes
  • Foot passengers who need special assistance: 30 minutes
  • Vehicles over 2.95 m in height, up to 3500 kg: 10 minutes
  • Trailers: 30 minutes
  • Disability vehicles: 30 minutes
  • Motorcycles: 10 minutes
  • Buses: 15 minutes

You will lose your reservation if you check in later than these times, and you will be boarded as space is available.

Check-in times are based on the planned departure time in the ferry timetable. Check-in times apply even if the ferry is delayed, unless otherwise specifically stipulated for the departure in question.

Practical information

Disability vehicles & persons with reduced mobility

On MOLSLINJEN’s ferries, we give special consideration to passengers who are disabled or have reduced mobility. We do this by ensuring that disability vehicles can park where there is easy access to the passenger deck.

Disability vehicles
Click here to book a ticket for your car online (DKK 199) if you would like your vehicle to be parked so that you have the best possible access to the passenger deck. (If you are a disabled driver or passenger in a large vehicle, the prices for an ordinary passenger car still apply.)

Once you have booked your ticket, please call us on +45 70 10 14 18 and let us know that you would like a spot with the best possible access to the passenger deck.

To ensure easy boarding, we would also be grateful if you would check in at the port no later than 30 minutes before departure.

Passengers with reduced mobility
If you are arriving at the port as a foot passenger and need help to board, please call us on +45 70 10 14 18 no later than the day before your journey.

If you are bringing someone with you to help you onto and off the ferry, he or she may obtain a temporary boarding card at the ticket office at Odden or in Aarhus.

Please check in at the port no later than 30 minutes before departure.

Pay without bank card

You can pay by PayByPlate or BroBizz

If you choose PayByPlate, your numberplate will be scanned at the ferry’s pay barrier and payment will automatically be deducted for the crossing. PayByPlate can be used for all types of ticket, and you can book in advance.

If you use BroBizz, it is not possible to reserve in advance. However, you will be asked if you wish to travel Business BlueClass.

If you have not already signed up for PayByPlate or BroBizz, you can do this with BroBizz.

How to pay using PayByPlate
You can pay for all ticket types using PayByPlate. However, if you drive to the port without booking a ticket in advance, you will be offered a crossing on Business BlueClass.

When you reserve in advance and pay using PayByPlate
You can book your ticket and departure in advance when it suits you and pay using PayByPlate. If you book online you must enter the numberplate of the vehicle you will be using. MOLSLINJEN will then be able to see whether you have a PayByPlate agreement and will suggest that you pay using your numberplate.

When you arrive at the port and drive up to the pay barrier, the automat will scan your numberplate and find your reservation. The latest check-in time is ten minutes before departure.

When you pay using PayByPlate without a reservation
If you drive directly to the ferry without booking in advance, you will be offered a crossing on Business BlueClass. With this ticket type, the latest check-in time is five minutes before departure, and you should use the lane marked ‘Business BlueClass’.

BroBizz
If you are using BroBizz for your trip, you cannot reserve in advance. You will be offered Business BlueClass when you use your BroBizz on MOLSLINJEN. The latest check-in time is five minutes before departure, and you should use the lane marked ‘Business BlueClass’.

Bring your pets with you

Bring your pets with you

Give yourself and your pets a break from the motorway. Take Denmark's best shortcut and relax on board.

Dogs must always be kept on the leash and cats must be in a cat carrier on board the ferry. For reasons of hygiene, pets are not allowed in the restaurant and business lounge. You are welcome to use the tables specially reserved for pets in Provianten, which offers restaurant service.

Parking

It is possible to park at MOLSLINJEN's ports in Aarhus, Odden and Ebeltoft for a fee.

The car park is managed by Q-Park, so all inquiries regarding parking should be directed to the company.

Aarhus / Odden
The machines accept Dankort, Visa, Mastercard and Eurocard. The following parking apps can also be used: EasyPark or ParkMan.

Ebeltoft
Payment can be made via the following payment apps: EasyPark or ParkMan.
