Creating a travel profile with MOLSLINJEN is free.
If you purchase your tickets on the website or app while logged in, they will automatically be added to your travel profile. You can also change your information and your tickets there.
There is no upper limit to how many fellow travelers can be registered on your profile.

There are rules that follow an EU directive on passenger registration on high-speed ferry routes of more than 30 nautical miles. We must know the first names, last names, gender, date of birth and nationality of all travelers. You can read the EU directive here.

The travel profile is a new initiative and has nothing to do with the profile that was previously in the app. Therefore, you must create a completely new travel profile when you take the ferries across the Kattegat. The old profile from the app has nothing to do with the new travel profile.
We always recommend that you have your passenger information updated before you arrive at the port. If for some reason you have not changed your reservation before departure, the machine will ask you if the correct passengers are in the car. If not, you can press "no" and you will then be checked in. You cannot make name changes in the machine.
You are welcome to do so – but you must be registered before departure by the person driving the car and/or who bought the ticket.

You can avoid entering everyone's information every time you travel with MOLSLINJEN ferries by creating a travel profile. On that profile you can register yourself as a traveler and any fellow travelers. This way our system saves the information so that it can be easily used the next time you travel with us.
No, there is no charge to change passengers from your booking. This can be done right up until departure.
You can do that. Then the traveling companions just need to be registered manually with each booking.
No. The driver only needs to state how many passengers he/she has on the bus when booking, but only the driver himself/herself needs to state name, surname, nationality, etc. The driver must print a name registration slip from the website, and this slip must be handed in at the operations centers when they arrive for check-in. The slip can be found under 'Practical information' at the bottom of www.molslinjen.dk.
If you make a change to your reservation, all passengers must be registered by name, just like if you book a new ticket.
